Fordham’s Libraries Have Over 3,200,000 Books (Physical & Digital)

The Fordham University Libraries (Walsh, Quinn, and Westchester) are not just for students and faculty. They are open to all staff, whether you’re enrolled in a course or not. You can come in, or access from your laptop at home, you can borrow a book, you can read a book, you can even find a quiet spot and write a book. You’ll find fiction and nonfiction (current and centuries old), literary prize winners, NY Times picks, esoteric studies, scholarly works, books in more languages than you can probably think of, mysteries, sci fi, graphic novels, maps, memoirs, plays, and much, much more. In terms of numbers, that comes to 3,204,172 books, which includes both hard copy and electronic books.
And if books aren’t what you’re looking for, we have subscriptions to 2,436 journals (hard copy and ejournals), 326 databases, current and historic newspapers, and hundreds of open access items.
To access our resources from wherever you are, all you need is a Fordham ID. If you come in you can even bring your coffee, as long as it has a lid on it!
